Disclaimer: Pictures of matrix contain only fossils found in a single, random bag, but they have been arranged on top so as to be visible. Each type has a fossiliferous rating to help show how many fossils you should expect to find.
Each bag (excluding size 1) contains 8 ounces of matrix as measured by a measuring cup. 1 cup or 0.03 Liters/ 30mL
Each type has a different Weight, but all bags have the same volume.
Each bag is completely unsearched and may contain fossils far more valuable than the price of the bag.
We cannot guarantee the number or types of fossils you will find in each bag, but we do our best to describe what you should expect from each type.
Our company sells fossil material directly from the source. Our Microfossil Matrix is directly sourced from many sites across the United States and beyond exclusively for MEC. Our Amber is directly sourced from our mine in Chiapas, Mexico. Our matrix is fully processed and ready to sort at your convenience at home. Guaranteed fossiliferous, Never seeded, Never searched. We take raw fossiliferous strata or creek gravel, clean it, dry it, sort it, bag it, and sell it straight to you. We include all relevant site information so you can easily label and identify your finds. Everything we sell is sold by Volumetric or Fluid Ounces, not weight. The smaller the grade, the more fossils you will find.
